Journal Launch and Preview

We are delighted to invite you to the launch of our new website for Periphērica: A Journal of Social, Cultural, and Literary Studies on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM, at the Dreamlab (Knight Library), University of Oregon.

This event will celebrate the release of Issue 3.2, featuring the dossier “Cinema and Infrapolitics,” and will include a preview of the forthcoming Issue 4.1, dedicated to “Hispanophone Africa.” The program will feature a roundtable discussion with guest editors and contributors, with in‑person participation by long‑time collaborators of the journal.
